ClearIt uses information you enter to provide checklists, synchronisation, and optional sharing with other people.
ClearIt stores your checklist names, categories, items, completion status, and app preferences on your device. Checklist content may contain personal information if you choose to enter it.
When iCloud is available and enabled for ClearIt, checklist data and selected-list preferences are also stored using Apple's iCloud services to support synchronisation across your devices.
When you share a checklist, its content is stored using Apple's CloudKit service and made available to participants according to the sharing permissions. This includes the checklist's name, categories, items, and completion status.
Participants with editing permission can change the shared checklist, including adding, editing, deleting, and ticking off items. Those changes are synchronised with other participants.
Depending on the sharing settings, access may be limited to invited people or available to anyone who obtains the sharing link. People with access may copy or retain the content you share. Apple's sharing interface may also display participant identity information associated with their Apple Accounts.
Checklist data is used to provide the app's features, including saving, synchronisation, and collaboration. ClearIt does not send checklist content to servers operated by the developer.
ClearIt does not sell your information, use advertising networks, or include third-party analytics or tracking technologies.
ClearIt does not require a separate ClearIt account. iCloud synchronisation and sharing use your Apple Account and depend on your device settings and Apple's services.

You choose what information to enter and whether to share a checklist. You can manage ClearIt's iCloud access through your device's settings and manage sharing through the checklist's sharing controls.
Removing a checklist from the app does not necessarily delete its separately stored shared CloudKit record or stop an existing share. Use the owner's sharing controls to stop sharing. Revoking access cannot remove copies that other people have already made.
Removing the app does not necessarily remove data already stored in iCloud.
ClearIt applies the same data practices described in this policy to users of all ages. Information entered into a shared checklist is accessible according to that checklist's sharing permissions.
This policy may be updated as ClearIt's features or data practices change. Updates will be published on this page with a revised date.
